Stu's Notes: Most of the named steelhead patterns that Syd Glasso left us are slight variations of each other. Across the entire set of patterns, however, are variations for most conditions from low, clear water to high, off-color spate. The Sol Duc Dark, as its name suggests, is a variation of the Sol Duc, with the red feathers from the body of the golden pheasant making up the wing and tail.
