Marabou Articulated Leech

Name Marabou Articulated Leech
Category Winter Steelhead
Hook Two TMC 7999, SIZES 2-8
Thread Black, 3/0
Tail Purple Marabou
Wing Purple Marabou with Purple Accent Flash
Eyes Bead Chain

Note: This pattern is a marabou variation of other articulated leech patterns. See Articulated Egg-Sucking Bunny Leech for directions on how to connect the articulating hooks. Next tie in the marabou at the bend of the trailing hook and wrap forward. Tie off at the base of the eye. Do the same with the front hook but add a few strands accent flash and leave room for the eyes. Tie in a pair of bead chain eyes just before the eye of the hook with figure eight wraps, whip finish and add a drop of head cement.
