|Hook||Kamasan Classic Lure Extra Long. Size 8 |
|Tail||Golden Pheasant Neck Tippets (Tying Thread Black or Tan) |
|Body||Tie on any Brown Hackle Feather at the tail, then tie in Lureflash Yellow Fritz. Also at tail, wind Yellow Fritz forward and tie off near but not to close to the eye. Wind on Brown Feather Hackle Palmer Style and Tie off. Now select the final tip portion of Cock Pheasant Tail and mount & tie on top. Next select portions of Pheasant tail Fibres and mount & tie on either side of fly. Now apply portion of Deer Hair keeping as an overwing and then clipping the front portion of Deer Hair to shape head. |
|Comments||Note: This is a very good pattern for Trout and Salmon, and very easy to make.|
|Fishing Tips||Best fished on Still Water or Slow River, under trees and overgrowth using twitching motion and creating a surface wake. They Will Gulp it Down. Warm Sunny Days when the Grasshopper is most active.
