Step 14

Finished front hackle

1. Tie in two orange-dyed grizzly hackles on both sides of the shank as wings.

Note: Ed Ward's pattern calls for Cree, but nearly the same effect can be achieved with the orange-dyed grizzly. (Cree is a mixture of grizzly and ginger which produces a variety of colors from light to dark orange).
