Tied By William Lovelace

Double Pink Marabou

Purple Marabou

Category Steelhead
Hook Mustad 36890 #6 with bead chain eyes
Thread Red Monocord

Pearl Krystal Flash tail tied in at hook midpoint; Purple Marabou palmered forward from the Krystal Flash.

Hackle Blue dyed Guinea Hen

Double Pink Marabou (Alaskabou Variation) was tied by Salmonfly.Net Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.

Bill's Notes: "I tied these marabou flies in the 80’s off a catalog fly picture when George Cook’s Alaskabou and Popsicle flies first became popular. If I tied them today the Krystal Flash would be kept longer extending past the Marabou."
