The late Scott Howell designed the GOCHA Grub "based (loosely) on the Davis Spanker, the Laser Fly (tied with a similar material), and Ronn Lucas's "Gocha Girl". He uses a dubbing material for the body called GOCHA, a Ronn Lucas product that Scotty says "yields a very life-like 'pulsating' quality." He says it is "finer than egg yarn, has all the movement of Marabou, but is tough and durable." It sure looks like a tasty morsel for any salmon, particularly for silvers.
You can read about Scotty and see many more of his flies on his page on this site, Scotty Howell Flies.
