Lamé Streamer, is a successful baitfish imitation for Pacific Salmon that comes from the book Fly Fishing For Pacific Salmon by Bruce Ferguson, Les Johnson, and Pat Trotter, but I have taken some liberties with it. The original, does not have a tail and uses unravelled lamé instead of the Krystal Flash I use here. The fly, according to the authors, was originated by Californian, Frank Sailors in the mid-60's, and the crinkly nature of the lamé, or in this case the Krystal Flash, is the key to its success.
