Bill's Notes: This fly was inspired by a recent tour in the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin. Their exhibit about the Great Dublin Whiskey Fire of 1875 and some time in their tasting room made me consider a fly incorporating some colors for the river of flaming whiskey (amber gold), with flames dancing in the sky until it reached the manure dam (peacock) made by the Fire Chief James Robert Ingram. This is my toast to Teeling Distillery and the Spirit of Dublin.
