This variation of Night Hawk was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer. The pattern came from Dec Hogan's book, A Passion for Steelhead. Clark's adaptations are in parenthesis. Dec Hogan writes that he has taken steelhead on this pattern in all seasons on this traditional Atlantic salmon fly.
