Sahara Mirage #1 was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.
Bill's Notes: I created this just after a camel ride out to a Berber tent camp in the Moroccan Sahara. The tan floss mimics the shifting sand colors. The Mirage Tinsel was for the shimmering heat mirage that floated between earth, sky, and the sand dunes in the distance. The blue middle represents an Oasis with Peacock Sword Palms. The black silk represents the night sky with silver twist stars above the campfire.
