Scotty's Notes: : This amazing pattern was designed and developed by Alec Jackson of the Yorkshire Flyfisher. Using Alec's method of twisting tinsel and Ostrich Herl (in to a 'chenille') makes this a labor intensive fly to dress...but worth the effort! It is an ideal attractor pattern for Winter Steelhead. Color variations could include Purple, Chartreuse, Claret, and Black. Another variation would be to substitute the Saddle for Guinea on the 'body' and using Guinea fibers instead of bucktail for the tail.
