The New and the Old Salmonfly.Net Site
Awhile back, we made the decision that the old Salmonfly.Net site was just not keeping up with modern technology and it was getting to be too much to maintain. Many of the pages were broken due to upgrades in the way newer web pages are coded. ...So we started building this new site.
It has not been that easy. As mentioned on the home page, there are over a thousand Pacific Salmon, Steelhead, Classic Atlantic Salmon, Dees, Speys, Salt-Water, Sea Trout and Sea-Run Cutthroat flies on the site.
So this site is still in transition as we gradually add the old pages one by one. Many of contibutors and the flies that are shown in the contributor pages still need to have the pages built around them. Many stories and step-by-step pages still need to be rebuilt, and in general there is just a lot more work. Keep checking back for more. Eventually there should not be any flies without a corresponding page and pattern.
