This was one of those "experimental" flies for me one year that I had some success with on the late Nisqually Chum run. The Nisqually gets a late run of Chum Salmon that lasts from early December into late January. I like the Daiichi 2151 for its hooking abiliity with the straight eye and Bartlett style bend to the hook, especially for those big buck chum with those hard jaws and huge canine-like teeth.
